The Most Dreadful Week & Blog Goals

The purpose of this post is well, no purpose at all. It is to inform you that I am alive. Barely, but alive nonetheless. I have survived two law school finals. I emphasize on law school, because I assure you, those two words make all the difference between a regular final and the worst test you've ever taken (right next to the LSATs). Ok, that was an exaggeration. It's not that bad, and I don't want to deter anyone who is seriously considering law school. (Although if you'd like to know more about the experience, feel free to ask).

Besides what's been going on lately and my pathetic excuse for the lack of updates, I've also come on to talk about some long-term goals.

First. I want to be consistent on this blog. I want to be a 'finisher' for once. What's a finisher, you ask? Well, let's start with someone who is not a finisher. Take myself for instance. I'm one of those people who have a million ideas in their head (I think I'm more creative than intelligent, really), and I want to do it all. Instead, I start on a handful of things, get overwhelmed, and never return to it. Prime example: I started a 'niche' website last summer, paid $150 for a domain, and haven't done anything to it since. It's sort of sad. Not only are my projects left to rot but what sucks more is the money I waste investing in these 'hobbies.' Therefore, from this day on, I will not be an un-finisher, or simply, a finisher (if that makes any sense).

Second, I'm getting a new camera this summer. I was practically certain I'd get it last Christmas (hoping one brother, two sisters, one brother-in-law, and the two parents would chip in), but guess what turned up under the Christmas tree for me? Not a camera. In fact, I don't remember what I got (I'm sure it's along the lines of cash-money). But hey, no worries. I've always lived by the words of 'if no one gets it for you, get it yourself!' Said by no one famous. Also, for the record, I'm not being 'indulgent' because I actually don't even have a regular digital camera right now. It died last summer when I was by the ocean.

Oh, I do have good news though. Fortunately, someone bought my iPhone, and now I have a iPhone 5, which has significantly better camera quality. All pictures will be taken on that for now.

Now back to the dungeon library I go!
